Compatibility with Smartphones
Apple iPhones
- All four levels of our budget hearing aids can connect to iPhone smartphones. The phone can then stream conversations and music to the hearing aid. The phone can also be used like a remote control to change volume and settings.
- We can show you what this means, and how it works at your free consultation.
Android & Samsung phones
- For the budget options of 1,2 & 3, if you have an android or Samsung phone, you will not be able to ‘directly stream’ conversations to your hearing aids. Instead, the connectivity means you use the phone like a remote control to change your volume and settings.
- For option 4, the phone can ‘directly stream’ conversations and music to the hearing aid. The phone can also be used like a remote control to change volume and settings.
- We can show you what this means, and how it works at your free consultation.
- Note: The connectivity capabilities apply as stated above for most android phones. However, there are a few android phones where this level of capability isn’t provided. We can discuss this with you at your free consultation.
Your return options
for all models
- After 6 weeks (for any brand and model) of use, if you are dissatisfied with their performance, you can return your hearing aids and get a near full refund.
- The refund just excludes any custom made ear moulds that may have been made as part of your initial hearing aids fitting.
- This 6-weeks return option covers all brands and models from Level 1 to Level 4.
Battery vs rechargeable
hearing aids
- With our budget hearing aids range, some of the models are battery powered, and some are available with rechargeable batteries.
- With battery powered models this means you simply purchase and replace your hearing aids battery, approx. every 5 -10 days, depending on the model , the specific size and type of battery, and your usage.
Option of 3-day charge box
For the Level 3 & 4 rechargeable hearing aids, there is the feature to also purchase the alternative 3-day ‘charge box’, which has 3 days of charge, compared to the standard direct charge box.
This assists people travelling with limited access to power.
(Note: When flying, this box must be taken as part of your carry-on luggage, and not in your checked in luggage.).
We are very happy to take the time and explain to you the benefits of the different options.
