I recently purchased new hearing aids through Oracle Hearing Limited, Upper Hutt. These are an upgrade to the first hearing aids I brought which were also purchased through Oracle Hearing Limited, Upper Hutt.Hearing aids are expensive and so I looked at other suppliers in the Wellington region, including one in Auckland. I was looking for a supplier with less expensive alternatives.I soon realised that I wanted to speak to someone face to face. I needed someone I was comfortable talking with and someone I trusted to give me good information so that I could make some sound decisions for myself. For these reasons I went back to Shantanu and Minoti Kirtikar at Oracle Hearing Limited, Upper Hutt.After I was satisfied with the answers to my questions, I was given a hearing test to confirm Oracle records were correct, a test I didn't have to pay for. We then discussed Phonak Hearing Aids. A loan pair were then adjusted for my hearing. I was then given them for a 2 week trial. After 2 weeks I went back. I was satisfied with the trial and have since purchased a brand new pair of Phonak Hearing Aids. We were recommended Oracle Hearing for hearing aid service after not being satisfied by the service provided by other companies.From the first appointment my husband, who has early onset dementia, felt relaxed and confident with Shantanu. They shared some good laughs. The tests were fully explained before and after. Any concerns I had were discussed as well. Shantanu took the time to adjust the hearing aids both electronically and with the ear fitting until everything worked as well as possible. We had an extra visit to ensure things were working. Minoti sorted the paperwork and payments with ACC magically. There is a lot more chatter and many laughs in our house, now, because the aids selected, setup completed and fitting done are the work of a craftsperson.We would both recommend Shatanu and Minoti at Oracle Hearing for excellent quality hearing aids delivered with delightful, prompt and accurate service.

I had an awesome experience at Oracle Hearing. Not once did they try to sell me top of the range hearing aids that I don't need but they also extended my trail period due to unforeseen circumstances on my part. Previously I visited a well known audiology franchise who tried to sell me the most expensive hearing aids which I did not need. It was so refreshing to work with Oracle who gives great service and are honest with their patients! Thanks Oracle!!
